The staff is awesome at Community Veterinary clinic my Dog actually loves going for his visits. I have a dog I adopted really active and loves to play unfortunately he was Heartworm positive was treated with a treatment that didn't require total inactivity by Dr.Meade one year later Slim is Heartworm Negative and the happiest dog in the world. I am the most grateful owner in the world . Thank you!!!!!!

Super understanding and kind staff (including front desk, techs, and doctors)! I had one vet for a very long time and after we moved I was nervous about finding a new clinic. We're now bringing two pups there. Dr. Meade approaches veterinary care with real compassion and I'm so thankful for the time and great consideration she's taken to work with me on a good care plan for my senior sweet pea. Also, she seems to understand how nerve wracking it can be when you're not sure what's going on. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that Dr. Meade calls with test results ASAP. I also briefly met with Dr. Bauer during our visit and he was great and so kind as well. How the doggies are treated is my number one concern, but it's really a bonus how nice they are to the humans too. UPDATE 4/26/24 I had to post an update because of how deeply grateful I am for the exceptional care shown by Dr. Bauer, Dr. Meade, and the entire team at the clinic during my sweet girl's recent illness. Despite the heartbreaking outcome, I know they did everything possible to help her. They recognized how much we loved her and our desire to do everything possible within our financial limits. Their approach was to ensure we could provide Abby with the best care without letting finances stand in the way, prioritizing the most critical tests and treatments. When Dr. Bauer was on call after hours he was so supportive and responsive, and was never bothered or irritated when I reached out with questions or concerns (even though I'm pretty sure I woke him up on one occasion- so sorry for that one, Dr. Bauer). Dr. Bauer, Dr. Meade and all of the staff, Nina, Jan, Andrea, Carlos, and Kelly were like our own mini dedicated triage team that cared for Abby as if she were their own. Even though historically vet trips made her nervous, their gentleness won her over; by the end of her first week of daily treatment she was wagging and greeting everyone. Absolutely wonderful practice! We have been with them throughout our pup's life and have always received the most professional, supportive, and compassionate care. Every doctor we have seen, as well as everyone on staff, has been incredibly caring and helpful. In the end, after two bouts of cancer, I'm not sure how we all would have gotten through it with out the incredible compassion and support of Dr. Bauer, who not only regularly checked in about Buddy but always offered words of encouragement and care for us. Must extend a big thank you to Meaghan, as well, who always made Buddy feel so loved. Fantastic practice.

Community Vet has been my two dog’s primary vet. I have not had to use them for anything other than check ups and vaccines, thankfully, until recently. As far as well-dog checks (I don’t know the veterinary term lol) they have always been great. However, a few weeks ago, my dog sliced her paw pad open. This occurred on a Sunday. I was able to have the dr on call paged right when it happened. He advised me, and I was able to avoid the ER. The following Monday, Dr. Bauer, who has been my dogs Dr, reached out. He talked through my concerns with me, showing great compassion and attention to detail. I sent in an image of the cut, and he advised me further on the correct course of action and wound care. I am a human nurse, and confident in my ability to cleanly dress wounds. He respected this skill set and worked with me to create a plan for treating my dog at home, under the caveat that if any signs of infection or delayed wound healing developed I should take her in immediately. I am happy to report that under his guidance, my dogs wound has almost completely healed with no complications. I am incredible happy with the care, compassion, and diligence with which Community Vet handled the entire situation and was able to calm me, a scared dog mom. I am also thankful that I was able to utilize their on-call service and avoid an ER visit and hefty bill. I would recommend this practice and their staff to anyone seeking a reliable and competent veterinary practice. Thank you Community Vet and Dr. Bauer.

Everyone at Community Vet goes above and beyond with their level of care- They are responsive, knowledgeable, caring, patient plus loving towards both our sweet senior Charlotte and playful puppy Georgie❣ Dr. Daly and Dr. Bauer have taken care of both our dogs. Dr. Wagner and the CVC team assisted me in moving my dog from the US to the UK via an international certification scheme. I was quite nervous given the rather confusing process when looking at the airline and US/UK import & export web pages, but Dr. Wagner communicated early and often, reminded me of the steps and timeline at every juncture, followed up when I owed more information and were so atop the entire process. My understanding is that they quite often receive these requests and are very practiced at dealing with the USDA and offering guidance. Our experience was an 11 out of 10, in fact, if we return we would move all of our veterinary needs over to Dr. Wagner and her team. I cannot recommend CVC highly enough for international canine travel support (and whilst I have no reason to imagine anybody else's experience would be different than mine, I assume that any reviews suggesting otherwise are suspect and likely missing some of the very clear information requested by the team).

Always a great experience here, and I always feel confident that my dog is in good hands. All of my questions and concerns are addressed and taken seriously. The doctors and staff are very welcoming and experienced. In case anyone is wondering, there’s an area next to the desk that can be sectioned off if needed, and you can see whether other people or pets are waiting before entering. Highly recommend.

Having just relocated to the area, we planned to set our dogs up with Community Vet Clinic. However, our younger dog decided to accelerate those plans after suffering from severe diarrhea and nausea for several days. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful in setting me up as a new patient and getting me in for a same-day visit. Dr. Wagner was fantastic, and then Dr. Bauer personally called me the next day to ensure our dog was doing OK. I'm so glad we found Community Vet Clinic and am excited about a long relationship.
